“ Wonderful experience with delicious food at Tamarind Thai Food this evening in La Mesa, California. Everything from the appetizers, main dishes, and desserts were very flavorful and the staff were all helpful and friendly. “ Seated immediately and served meal shortly after ordering. Friendly staff and attentive. Stir veggies spice level 1 and pineapple fried rice with crispy pork, very good (no spice). Pork a little chewy. Will return. Calamari and veggie appetizer ok. ”

“ The lunch special comes with a very good super and salad. Remember that when picking apps. The satay had curry on it and was super delicious and piping hot. The peanut sauce was warm too which was a nice touch. The fresh rolls were decent but didn't come with the same peanut sauce as the satay which was a bummer. I ended up just using the satay sauce which was really good. Entree: got the spicy noodle (drunken noodle) special and it was really good. I'd give it a 4.7 (would have like bell peppers, and the portion was pretty small). I asked for an 8 spicy and they ABSOLUTELY NAILED IT. Very impressive. Usually if you ask for an 8 it's more like a 4 because you didn't ask for a 10. But this place hit an 8 perfect. ”

Didn’t get her name but she was very friendly! Ambience was very cozy. Panang Curry was amazing!! I was asked for a spiciness level between 1-10 and I chose 6. It was spicier than I thought it would be but still great flavor. Crispy Calamari was good. Also comes with fried veggies. Satay Chicken was also good. Will be coming back! ”
